Where To Find All The Daughter And Candle Rooms In Blasphemous 2

Here's where to find all five bedridden daughters and candle rooms in Blasphemous 2 to complete The House of Grief and Hatred challenges!

Blasphemous 2 has a great deal of sub-quests and tasks to complete, with tracking down five Bedridden Daughters and Candle Rooms being one of the more involved, as they lead to short Battle Challenges that payout with exceptional rewards.

While the rooms where the Daughters and Candles reside are tricky to find, the Battle Challenges can be even more tasking. However, getting your hands on valuable Atlarpieces or Healing Upgrades will make all your efforts, time, and sanity feel more than worth it, especially if you want to see everything this game offers.

The first room containing one of the Bedridden Daughters and a Candle can be found in the Grilles and Ruin region. To get to this room, head to the eastmost Prie-Dieu and take the exit directly to the left of it.

From here, jump onto the elevated ledge slightly to the left, then leap from there into the top right corner of the area to reveal a room above where the Prie-Dieu is. Enter the room to find the first Daughter and Candle!

After finding the first Daughter and Candle room, you can return to the room just to the right of the Prie-Dieu in the Streets of Wakes and interact with the bed to begin the first Battle Challenge. Defeating the waves of enemies will grant you the Tirso Altarpiece of Favour.

The Tirso Altarpiece raises your Damage Output by ten percent while your HP is full, which may prove beneficial in the early to mid-game regions and encounters!

Our second room, holding a Bedridden Daughter and a Candle, will be located within the Elevated Temples dungeon. First, head to the Prie-Dieu in the northwest section directly to the left of the Chapel of the Five Doves area.

Next, head two rooms over until you are in the enormous room filled with ladders, Statues, and lifts. Make your way to the top right of this area where the Statue is, and destroy any Contraption you come across on your way, as they will drop ladders and create valuable shortcuts.

Activate the Statue and raise the Lift to the top of the shaft, then stop using the Statue. From here, head to the left, drop down the ladder, and take a right. Quickly switch to the Ruego Al Alba, jump underneath the Lift, and perform a downward slam.

You will destroy a breakable wall to the right if done correctly, revealing a new room. Enter this room to find the second Daughter and Candle!

If you want, you can return to the room to the right of the Prie-Dieu in the Streets of Wakes to take on the second Battle Challenge, which will be a step up in terms of challenge from the first. Nonetheless, clearing every wave will reward you with The Thirst Altarpiece of Favour.

The Thirst Altarpiece will raise your Damage Output by 20 percent if you've consumed all your Bile Flasks, making it an excellent way to pull off clutch situations or attempt getting the This Is Blasphemy Trophy/Achievement!

Room number three, with a Bedridden Daughter and a Candle, will be located in the northeastern portion of the Crown of Towers dungeon. However, before reaching her, you will need the Mercy of the Wind Ability (Air Dash) to pass through the blue chain.

With that Ability obtained, make your way to the top right of the dungeon, then jump toward the left and use your Air Dash to pass through the blue chain. Once on the other end, you will notice a Statue, but there will also be a room behind it.

Enter the room behind the Statue to reveal the third Daughter and Candle. Don't forget to interact with the Candle to extinguish its flame before moving on to the Battle Challenge or the next Daughter and Candle!

Like the others, you can either hop directly into the next Battle Challenge or find the next Daughter and Candle. If you choose to take on the third Battle Challenge, you will be rewarded with an Empty Receptacle for your efforts.

After receiving the Empty Receptacle, take it to the Blood Upgrade lady in the City of the Blessed Name, who will provide you with an additional Bile Flask!

The penultimate room, containing a Bedridden Daughter and a Candle, is located in the daunting Basilica of Absent Faces dungeon near the northeast corner. However, you will need the Scions' Protection (Angel Rings) and Mercy of the Wind (Air Dash) Abilities to reach the room.

After obtaining these Abilities, go to the top right portion of the dungeon and use the Angel Rings on the righthand side to ascend higher through the room, using your Air Dash to pass through the blue chains when needed and continue following the Angel Rings to the top right corner.

There will be a Contraption in the top right corner of the room. Jump from the Angel Ring and give it a smack with a weapon to destroy it, causing the gate on the lefthand side of the room to open. Drop down to where the first Angel Ring was and head directly across from it to reach the opened gate.

Enter the room to find the fourth Daughter and Candle, making sure you interact with the Candle to blow it out, enabling you to take on the fourth Battle Challenge!

Taking on the fourth Battle Challenge will be pretty unbearable, so be prepared for everything but the kitchen sink on this one. Fortunately, your time and efforts will be worthwhile, as you will obtain an Ornate Chalice after successfully defeating all the waves of enemies.

After pocketing the Ornate Chalice, return to the Blood Upgrade lady in the City of the Blessed Name and give it to her to have your Maximum Health permanently increased by +30!

Finally, our last room, containing a Bedridden Daughter and a Candle, is found in the Sunken Cathedral dungeon but requires a few prerequisites beforehand. First, you will need the Scions' Protection Ability (Angel Rings). Secondly, you will have to start from The Severed Tower dungeon.

So, head to the bottom-most Prie-Dieu of The Severed Tower and head to the floor directly above it. Once here, head two rooms over to the right to discover a shortcut connecting The Severed Tower and Sunken Cathedral.

Once here, you will notice an Angel Ring in the Sunken Cathedral section. Jump onto it, follow them to the right, and have the last one fly you toward a Mirror on the right. With your Sarmiento & Cenelle (Rapiers) equipped, jump from the Angel Ring and hit the Mirror.

This will turn you into a streak of lightning and send you hurtling toward a Contraption in the upper right corner of the area. Hit the Contraption with a weapon to open a gate near the bottom left area of the room you're currently in.

Enter this room to reveal the fifth and final Daughter and Candle, interact with the Candle to extinguish its flame, and then prepare yourself for the last Battle Challenge!

Our fifth and final Battle Challenge is just an onslaught of the most formidable and annoying foes you can face in Blasphemous 2, so prepare yourself for everything and anything. However, your efforts will be more than worth it, as you will obtain the Lebeche Altarpiece of Favour.

The Lebeche Altarpiece will increase your Critical Chance by ten percent, but its best feature is it is one of four Altarpieces needed to unlock Ending A, the game's 'true' ending!
